Matteo Licini is a partner at AMTF Avvocati and co-head of the Litigation.
Specializing in banking and financial law, as well as in corporate and insolvency matters, Mr. Licini has gained extensive experience in assisting companies operating in the automotive and aviation sectors and leading national and international banks and insurance companies in the management of commercial, insurance, and financial disputes.
During his many years of experience as a lawyer specializing in litigation, he has assisted clients in a wide range of disputes ranging from post-M&A disputes, product liability and unfair and/or deceptive commercial practices, as well as in relation to breaches of agency agreements, contractual and/or non-contractual liability, including by disloyal employees, and enforcement of bank guarantees.
Mr. Licini has also gained significant experience in managing some of the most important class action lawsuits and collective actions brought in Italy against leading banks and multinational companies by the most representative consumer associations, enabling him to provide clients with pragmatic solutions for the efficient resolution of such disputes.
Before joining the firm, he worked for many years with leading international law firms, gaining significant experience in managing regulatory issues and cross-border disputes on behalf of domestic and international clients.
