La Prensa Etichette, Italian leader in label printing and finishing for the mineral water and consumer goods sectors, has acquired 100% of the shares of Casalini e Viscardi, a leading player in the rotogravure printing industry.
Casalini e Viscardi, founded in 1958 and based in Merate (LC), specializes in rotogravure printing, lamination, paraffin coating, waxing, and cutting processes.
La Prensa Etichette, founded in 1966, is a leading Lombardy-based operator in the printing and finishing of paper and plastic labels for food and beverage products (in particular mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, and more) and boasts solid technological know-how thanks to an experienced team and investments in new cutting-edge machinery.
The merger of the two companies will offer customers comprehensive and complementary solutions, combining rotogravure and flexographic printing to suit different print run and customization requirements.
The investors were assisted by Gitti and Partners with a team coordinated by Managing Partner Vincenzo Giannantonio and consisting of Associate Antonino Di Salvo, Associate Alessandro Baronchelli, and Junior Associate Rosanna Forcella for corporate aspects – M&A, as well as Partner Elisa Mapelli and Junior Associate Michela Baldassarra for labor issues, Partner Laura Sommaruga and Senior Associate Federico Ianeselli for administrative law issues, Associate Leonardo Maria Moscati for privacy and 231 issues, Counsel Marco Blei for IT and IP issues, and Associate Daniele Rositani for real estate issues.
