AMTF Avvocati assisted RE:CAP Global Investors Ag in the acquisition from WKN GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of PNE AG, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, of a portfolio of 12 photovoltaic and agrivoltaic plants with a total capacity of approximately 114 MW located in various Italian regions.
RE:CAP Global Investors Ag acted as M&A advisor and asset manager for the Luxembourg-based investment fund FP LUX Energy Transition Fund on its first investment in Italy. The transaction involves the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the companies owning the various projects, which are currently at different stages of the respective authorization processes. Founded in 2011 and based in Switzerland, the RE:CAP Group is one of the leading developers and producers of electricity from renewable sources. Specializing in large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic plants and wind farms, it operates in several countries and intends to strengthen its position in the Italian market.
